GENERAL INFORMATION

Payment – Checks should be made payable to College of Saint Elizabeth. Registration forms and payments are to be mailed to:

Confirmations will be mailed a few weeks before the Institute.

AM Class Sessions: 9:30am - 12:30pm

PM Class Session: 6:30pm- 9:30pm

Cancellations/Refund – Requests for refunds will be honored through June 30, 2013. Any cancellation after that date will result in forfeiture of registration fees.

Directions – Directions to the campus will be sent with confirmation of your Summer Institute 2013 registration. The campus is easily accessible by train and routes 80, 287, 78, 24, the NJ Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. The college is approximately 30 minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport.

We are a registered New Jersey Department of Education site for awarding Continuing Education Units.

Mass will be celebrated each morning at 8:50am in the St. Joseph Hall Conference Room.

Academic Programs

CSE's Theology Department offers a wide variety of certificate and bachelor degree programs for adult who are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith.

Students can earn 24 undergraduate theological credits in 24 months, with credits transferable into other programs of study, leading to baccalaureate degrees.

Courses are offered in-class and online, and are taught in both English and in Spanish.

Expanding Our Mission to Serve a Global Catholic Community

Now an annual tradition at the College of Saint Elizabeth, the Summer Institute brings to campus leading theologians and educators from around the country for an in-depth series of academic courses, workshops and seminars that celebrate the spirituality and cultural diversity in the United States and around the world.

Hosted by the College's Center for Ministry and Spirituality, this two-week spiritual enrichment summit is designed for lay women and men, religious, and clergy who seek a relaxing environment for theological study and renewal. Participants can choose from a variety of courses for credit or for audit and personal enrichment.

As an inter-cultural community of faith and learning, we seek to bring the richness of the Roman Catholic tradition, teaching, and practice to our students, to the broader Church, and to the public through a variety of educational opportunities and resources, including:
