Community
service is an integral part of the fabric of everyday life
here at the College of Saint Elizabeth, deeply rooted in the
mission of the College and tradition of the Sisters of Charity.
One manifestation of this commitment to service is the Geraldine
Doyle Riordan Center for Volunteerism and Service-Learning.
Established on
the CSE campus in 1983 by the family of the alumna whose name
it bears, the Geraldine Doyle Riordan Center for Volunteerism and Service-Learning formalizes the commitment to service by functioning
as a clearinghouse to match student volunteers with service
opportunities in the surrounding community.
