Throughout their time at CSE, students have the opportunity of becoming involved in numerous service projects, both locally and out-of-state. Students may find themselves building housing with Habitat for Humanity, raising funds for charitable causes, or travelling to rural or urban areas on college service-learning trips. Established in 1983 by the family of the alumna whose name it bears, the Geraldine Doyle Riordan Center for Volunteerism and Service-Learning displays CSE’s commitment to civic engagement, supporting some 45 service projects that help change lives; it also serves as a drop-off location for the collection of food, coats, recycled cell phones, and Dress for Success professional clothing.
