College is a journey of growth in many aspects of our student's lives. Young minds are opening with new ways of thinking and experiencing new feelings. Students have the opportunity to meet new people from different parts of New Jersey, the United States and across the world. With all this change, they may become overwhelmed. Personal lives may interfere with academic lives causing an increase in difficulty with coping with these new feelings. The Counseling Center understands this and are here to help in every way possible.
Professional Counselors are able to assist students in identifying and learning positive coping skills to deal with the stressors of life. We welcome any information regarding students from faculty, parents or friends. Unfortunately, due to confidentiality, we are unable to confirm or deny the identity of our clients or discuss any information obtained in any sessions unless we have written permission from the adult student. Please be assured, we will take the information under advisement and reach out to the student in question if they do not seek our services.
Our goal is that every student has only the most positive experience during their time at The College of Saint Elizabeth.
