MORRISTOWN, N.J. -- Maria Corall and Kristin King both broke their own school records in the 43-38 loss against William Paterson in Wednesday’s swimming action.
In the 200 medley relay, the Eagles broke the school record with a time of 2:09.28. The relay consisted of King, Corall, Shannon Tipton and Veronica Lubsen. King finished first place in the 400 IM setting the new record at 5:08.04 and finished first place in the 500 free relay with a time of 5:44.88. Corall finished first in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:05.86 and set a new school record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:17.26. Lubsen had two individual second place finishes in the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle. Tipton finished in third place in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:23.53 and won the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:17.24.
The Eagles face John Jay College for their think pink swim meet on Nov. 30 at 6pm.
