Lacrosse Drops Tough One to Bryn Aythn

The College of St Elizabeth's lacrosse team feel at Bryn Athyn, 19-7 on Tuesday.

The Eagles feel behind quickly, giving up 5 quick goals in just 5 minutes. Brianna Fedorich stopped the bleeding, scoring her first goal of the season at the 22:51 mark of the first half. Nicole Rios and Kelly O'Dell added a goal each a few minutes later, bringing the Eagles to within 7-3. The pair added 2 more goals just a few minutes later, cutting Bryn Athyn's lead to 3. Despite the comeback, the Eagles found themselves trailing 11-6 at the break.

In the second half, Bryn Athyn started just like they did in the first half, quickly scoring 5 goals and opening up a 16-6 lead. Nicole Rios scored the only goal of the second half for the Eagles, cutting the lead to 16-7. Bryn Aythn added 3 more goals before beating the Eagles 19-7.

Kelly O'Dell and Nicole Rios finished with a hat trick each. This is the 3rd straight game O'Dell finished with a hat trick. Sarah Briant finished with 4 saves in net. The Eagles return to action on Thursday when they host Lancaster Bible at 4 pm.
