Screaming Eagles basketball finish regular season 16-9

MORRISTOWN, N.J. -- Saint Elizabeth forward Sabrina Jarmolinski scored a game-high 27 points while guard Anastasia Feola added 16 points as the Screaming Eagles women's basketball team tuned up for the upcoming NEAC Championship tournament with an impressive 77-48 win on Senior Day in St. Joseph's Hall.

The Saint Elizabeth Department of Athletics honored the three seniors on the team -- Jarmolinski, Feola and Patricia Yagecic -- along with their families with flowers and balloons at halftime.

By the intermission, the Screaming Eagles (16-9, 13-5 NEAC) had control of the game with a 46-23 lead after shooting 44.7 percent from the floor, including 6-of-12 from beyond the 3-point line.

Jarmolinski shot 10 of 20 from the floor and added nine rebounds and four assists. Feola hit seven of her 13 shots while  backcourtmate Noelle Grande also reached double figures with 10 points to go along with five assists. Junior Kelly O'Dell grabbed a game-high 10 reboudn to go with seven points and six steals.

The Screaming Eagles will now prepare for the NEAC Championships, which begin on Tuesday night in St. Joseph's Hall. Saint Elizabeth, the No. 2 seed in the South Division, will face the No. 3 seed Lancaster Bible. The winner will advance to the semifinals this weekend.
