Screaming Eagles fall to SUNY IT

SOMERSET, N.J. – SUNY-IT scored twice in the second half on the way to a physical 3-0 victory over the College of Saint Elizabeth Sunday afternoon in North Eastern Athletic Conference action.
SUNY-IT struck first for a goal at 13:43 when their corner kick was headed into the top right side of the net.
The Screaming Eagles (1-4, 1-1 NEAC) did not back down and created scoring chances in the second half, earning four corner kicks.
CSE junior goalkeeper Catherine De La Cruz posted seven saves in net while freshman Samantha Cicio led the offense with a pair of shots on goal.
SUNY-IT (2-3, 2-0 NEAC) increased its lead by adding two scores in the second half on the way to the victory.
The Screaming Eagles play again on Saturday, September 18th at Penn-State Abington at 12pm.
