Poetry Reading, How Women Grieve, Set for July 26, 2012 at College of Saint Elizabeth

A poetry reading on How Women Grieve, the focus of this summer’s Adannna Literary Journal, will be held at the College of Saint Elizabeth, (CSE), 2 Convent Road, Morristown, N.J., on Thursday July 26 beginning at 6 p.m. in the Annunciation Center. The reading, by several journal authors, will be preceded and followed by a reception. It coincides with an art exhibit, Layers and Folds, which will be open during the reception in the adjoining Therese A. Maloney Art Gallery. The events are free and open to the public.

“When visitors come on July 26 to hear the poetry and view the exhibition they will experience ways these pieces of art and the poems speak to each other,” said Lynne McEniry, poet, guest editor and organizer of this journal and the reading, and CSE coordinator of academic affairs.

Authors from the 40 with published works in the Journal who will read their works include, Dr. Laura Winters, CSE professor of English, and Christine Redman-Waldeyer, founder of the Journal.
