Morristown, N.J. (October 29, 2014) – Dr. Frances Covalesky, adjunct professor of music at the College of Saint Elizabeth, is performing classical and romantic piano pieces on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at 7 p.m. The concert in Dolan Performance Hall, Annunciation Center, is free and open to the public. The repertoire will include Brahms, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and Ciurlionis.

As a classical pianist, Dr. Covalesky has performed on national and international stages. She has played locally with the New Jersey Pops Orchestra as well as at the Sugrizimai Arts Festival in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Laurie Ann Guerrero, poet laureate of San Antonio, Texas, will be reading her work on Monday, November 17, 2014, beginning at 7 p.m. in Saint Joseph Hall. A question and answer session and book signing will follow. The event is free and open to the public.

Ms. Guerrero has published two books, Babies under the Skin and A Tongue in the Mouth of the Dying. Her third book, A Crown for Gumecindo, is due to be released in January 2015.
