Morristown, N.J. (August 14, 2017) – As a father, a husband and director of Business Integration for the Retirement and Income Solutions Division of MetLife, Jason Taylor, '18, was worried about finding the time to add student to his already busy life.
"One of the biggest challenges for me in going back to school was thinking: 'how am I going to juggle all of my responsibilities?'," says Taylor.
He's worked in several different divisions of MetLife, a life insurance company, for the last 27 years but felt an intrinsic need to further his education. That's when he discovered CSE's ED CHOICE program.
"The ED CHOICE option was the perfect fit for somebody like me," says Taylor. "It's built for people who want to go back to school but have too many commitments."
ED CHOICE enables students enrolled in the graduate fields of management, theology, health administration, public health, nursing or educational leadership to earn their degree without sacrificing their career or family life.
"CSE's ED CHOICE program gives you the option of going to class or attending class online," says Taylor. "Where there are conflicts with work or family, I just simply attend that class online and it works great."
This unique program is specifically designed to meet the needs of students in the real world where life commitments sometimes interfere with classroom demands.
Taylor is on track to obtain his M.S. in management with a specialization in organizational change in 2018.
