Graduate Studies - New Programs | Fall 2017

$1,000 Incentive

To receive the $1,000 incentive, students must register for six credits per semester for two consecutive semesters and maintain a B+ average. The $1,000 will be applied to credits taken after the initial six.


The College is much attuned to adult learners, and their need for career advancement. For fall 2017, five new graduate programs will be introduced, each one aimed at building on the College's strengths, and providing outcome-driven education for career-driven professionals.

School of Professional Studies

Master of Public Health

The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree prepares professionals for leadership roles, including health policy analyst and community health educator, in the assessment and promotion of the public health of our communities. Graduates of this comprehensive MPH program, with a focus on promoting health equity, will be prepared to work in a variety of settings such as non-profit organizations, government agencies, hospitals/health systems, and insurance companies.

M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis

The graduate certificate and master's degree programs in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) are designed for graduate students seeking to increase their knowledge and expertise in the field of applied behavior analysis. These programs prepare professionals for a variety of occupations in education, business and health. The programs will be of interest to professionals providing services for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges, early interventionists, school psychologists, speech pathologists, and behavior analysts.

Ed.D. in Educational Leadership – Higher Education Track

The Higher Education leadership track is an extension of our highly-regarded practitioner-oriented Pre-K to 12 doctoral program already established. M.S. in Data Analytics

By 2024, over 250,000 new jobs are expected to open in fields requiring expertise in data analytics. This exciting new graduate program will prepare students for these opportunities by providing instruction in data quality analysis and management, data processing and data security, mathematical and statistical methods for data modeling with the use of computing tools, and techniques for visualizing data.

It's no secret that an understanding of social media is vital to succeeding in a digital, constantly evolving job market. This highly innovative program instructs students on the history and development of social media so their skills are always on the cutting edge. Students will learn to create innovative branding and graphic designs for e-markets; write business-savvy text; and gain the ability to market and manage social media sites of all types for a wide variety fields requiring a creative web-presence.
