Under the supervision of the Director of Academic Computing, the Help Desk serves as a central point of contact for managing, communicating, and facilitating resolution of college-owned computer related problems. Not sure who to call about signing out a projector and laptop for a presentation? The Help Desk will ensure your request is directed to the appropriate office.
One of the primary responsibilities of the Help Desk is the maintenance and support of the College computer labs and all staff and faculty desktop computers and printers. In addition, the Help Desk provides assistance in the use of office applications and online College web applications such as the Learning Management Systems (Moodle), Web Mail, Google Apps, and Self-Service.
While the Help Desk is unable to fix your personally owned computers, support is available for helping students connect their computers to the campus network. The FAQ/Help Documents also has a number of helpful articles related to technology services on campus, recommended computer configurations, antivirus/anti-spyware resources, and more.
There has been a recent increase in cyber-related scams targeting higher education institutions, employees and students. Below is a list of fraudulent email/phone calls that the campus received (this list is actively updated when new suspicious activities are reported).
