Program Coordinator, developing MS in Physician Assistant Program

Job Description

The *developing MS in Physician Assistant Program at the College of St. Elizabeth invites applications for an administrative program assistant position.

Under the direction of the Program Director, MS PA Program, the Program Coordinator is responsible for performing the routine professional functions necessary for the MS PA Program and is the principal assistant in administrative matters.

 The Program Coordinator provides administrative support to coordinate office operations; develops, and maintains cooperative working relationships with faculty, staff, students and internal and external College of Saint Elizabeth stakeholders.  In addition, helps coordinate relationships between the MS PA Program and clinical partners (administrators and preceptors) and facilitate communication between all parties.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Education: BA/BS degree

Evidence of an ability to learn and utilize modern computer software, including but not limited to Microsoft office, learning management / web based learning systems, and Google platforms.

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated with demonstrated ability to learn quickly, multitask, and set priorities.

A strong commitment to achieve the missions of the MS PA Program and the College of Saint Elizabeth.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience: Two years in an education or health related environment

* The College of Saint Elizabeth MS in Physician Assistant Program has applied for Accreditation - Provisional from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).  The CSE MS PA Program anticipates matriculating its first class in October 2019, pending achieving Accreditation - Provisional status at the June 2019 ARC-PA meeting. Accreditation - Provisional is an accreditation status granted when the plans and resource allocation, if fully implemented as planned, of a proposed program that has not yet enrolled students appear to demonstrate the program’s ability to meet the ARC-PA Standards or when a program holding accreditation-provisional status appears to demonstrate continued progress in complying with the Standards as it prepares for the graduation of the first class (cohort) of students.
