The Admissions and Financial Aid Counselor has a dual reporting role between Financial Aid and Admissions. This position will be the primary contact between prospective students and the College and is responsible for supporting student outreach by managing reports and the admissions communication plan.
In the role of financial aid officer, the counselor will work directly with prospective students and constituencies to explain the financial aid process, award packages and specifically shepherd students through the financial part of the admissions process. In general, the staff member will participate as an active member of the enrollment management group assisting with enrollment and retention of students with a distinct focus on communication and financing education.
The Admissions/Financial Aid Counselor will participate as an active member of the recruitment team, assist with special programs and projects, participate in the development and implementation of enrollment strategies and marketing plans, and input/retrieve data on the administrative computing system, along with any other duties assigned.
