STEP
1
Early Estimator Form for Financial Aid
Complete
the Early Estimator enabling us to offer you an Estimated
Award Letter listing the types and amounts of aid for which
you may qualify. Also listed will be the estimated costs and
most importantly, it will give you an idea of what you will
pay for your freshman year at CSE. This is an extremely
important service that will enable us to show you how
affordable CSE can be. This can be done before or after your
application is submitted.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA)
Complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after
January 1 and submit it to the Federal processor. Complete it
as early as possible to receive a priority financial aid
package from CSE. The FAFSA is available at high school
guidance offices and CSE financial aid office. FAFSAs can be
filed online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ Our code is
002600.

Financial Aid Transcripts (Transfer
Students)
Financial Aid Transcripts must be received
from all previously attended colleges, even if no aid was
received.

College of Saint
Elizabeth scholarships and grants are awarded to students who
have financial need and/or above average academic records. The
majority of scholarship funds are restricted to full-time
first time freshman students. Students who apply for financial
aid will be considered for all scholarships for which they are
eligible. Awards for students qualifying for more than one
scholarship are made at the discretion of the Director of
Financial Aid. All scholarships are renewable for four years
with satisfactory academic progress.
Freshman
Scholarships
Presidential
Scholarships
Presidential Scholarships are the most
prestigious scholarships offered by the College.
These
undergraduate scholarships are generally awarded to entering
freshmen designated as New Jersey Distinguished Scholars. Only
full time residential students are eligible for this
award.
Elizabethan
Scholarships $13,000 - $16,000 scholarships. Students with
strong academic programs and SAT scores are eligible for these
scholarships. Applicants must apply as full-time first year
resident or commuting students.
Seton
Scholarships
$8,000 - $12,000 scholarships. Students who
have demonstrated academic ability in high school and who have
satisfactory SAT scores are eligible for these scholarships.
Applicants must apply as full-time, first year resident or
commuting students.
Sister of
Charity of Saint Elizabeth Scholarship
$2,500 not based
on financial need. Nieces or grand nieces of Sister of Charity
(living or deceased) who meet the ordinary admission criteria
of the College are eligible for these scholarships.
Alumnae
Daughter Scholarship
Half tuition scholarship for
daughters of CSE Alumnae who are applying as full-time
freshmen are eligible for these scholarships.
Xavier Scholarship
$4,000 - $7,000 scholarship to students who have demonstrated the values of leadership in a spirit of service and social responsibility.

Phi Theta
Kappa Scholarship
Minimum of five
renewable scholarships ranging from $4,000 to half tuition/year to students with a minimum 3.5 G.P.A., a minimum
of 32 credits and a letter of recommendation from a Phi Theta
Kappa advisor are required. Open to full-time students.
Students with a previous bachelor's degree are not eligible.
Students must enroll immediately following their full-time
enrollment at another college. Preference will be given to
applications received by June 1 for fall semester and by
December 1 for spring semester.
Transfer
Scholarship
Varying number of renewable scholarships ranging from $4,000 to half tuition/year to
students with a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. and a minimum of 32
credits. Open to full time students. Students with a previous
bachelors degree are not eligible. Students must enroll
immediately following their full-time enrollment at another
college. Preference will be given to applications received by
June 1 for fall semester and by December 1 for spring
semester.
