The College of Saint Elizabeth provides students, faculty, and staff with wireless network (i.e., Wi-Fi) access to the Internet and select campus network resources such as e-mail, Self-Service, and Moodle. This provides increased flexibility and productivity for members of the CSE community.
Please review the Minimum Computer Hardware/Software Requirements to determine if your machine is up to the minimum standard required to access the wireless network.
The CSE Wireless Network is available from many locations on campus including Mahoney Library, Saint Joseph Hall (Student Center), O'Connor parlor, Founders Hall lounge, Henderson Hall, Santa Rita Hall, Annunciation Center and Xavier Center.
NOTE: Users will need to have a CSE Account to access the wireless network. Please go to Your CSE Account page to setup your account (one-time process) or view instructions on how to change/reset your passwords. Guests may visit the Help Desk (Henderson Hall, Room 209) for temporary accounts.
CSE is a secure wireless network offered to members of the CSE community. It provides access to the CSE high-speed wireless network with encrypted transmission of data, offering a much greater degree of privacy and security. CSE faculty, staff, and students are strongly encouraged to use this service.
CSEOpen provides limited access to the CSE wireless network. This wireless network does not provide secure transmission of your data and is considered a GUEST wireless network. Students, Staff and Faculty should not use this network, but instead use the secure CSE network. For guest accounts, please contact the Help Desk at 973-290-4015 or visit Henderson Hall Room 209.
Please Note: The CSESECURE and CSEOPEN wireless networks will be shutdown on January 31st, 2013. Please update your wireless network settings to connect to the "CSE" wireless network for a faster, more secure connection.
