Patricia McColgan Roche '90 Mother Xavier Award 1994
After graduating with a B.S.N., Patricia continued her career as a registered professional nurse. She attended graduate school at College Misericordia, and currently is attending the New York University (NYU) Graduate School of Nursing. Patricia served as the Director of Health Services at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) from 1991- 95, and she served in a similar capacity at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Newark from 1995-97. NJIT's student government named her the school's Outstanding Administrator in 1992. She is now the manager of Urgent Care Services at NYU Health Center. Patricia is a Eucharistic Minister at St. Vincent Martyr Church in Madison, she is a volunteer nurse for the Interfaith Homeless Shelter, and she serves on the Board of Trustees at the Madison Day Care Center. Patricia received the Mother Xavier Award in 1994. "Attending CSE gave me the opportunity for personal growth and the tools to redirect my life, both professionally and personally."
