The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation Partners with CSE to Present an Art Exhibition

The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation (Foundation) has selected the College of Saint Elizabeth’s (CSE) Therese A. Maloney Art Gallery as its venue for its upcoming exhibit entitled, “Inside and Out: Selections from the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation Visual Artist/Educator Fellows.”

CSE to Hold 106th Commencement, May 10

On Saturday, May 10 at 10 a.m., the College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE), 2 Convent Road, Morristown, New Jersey, will hold its 106th Commencement exercises in a tent on the front lawn of campus. During the ceremonies, 259 undergraduate students and 219 graduate students are expected to receive their degrees. With 478 graduating men and women* receiving degrees, this year’s is the largest graduating class in CSE history.

Artist, Pastor Charlie Newton to Speak at CSE, March 25, 2008

Veteran artist and pastor from Chattanooga, Tenn., Charlie Newton will offer an informal presentation and discussion about his art work, discussing his dual role as an artist and pastor, and how both occupations influence each other on Tuesday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Dolan Performance Hall at the Annunciation Center at CSE. The evening’s affair is set to take place on the Feast of the Annunciation, which, in Christianity, celebrates the angel Gabriel’s announcement to Mary that she would bear Jesus, the Son of God.

CSE to Host Draw-A-Thon, March 15, 2008

Do you have an interested in drawing; want to immerse yourself for a day sketching from live models, trying new drawing techniques, challenging yourself on the computer, or learning some beginning approaches to line and shading? If so, attend the Draw-a-thon that will take place from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at CSE.

Artists Chong, Einstein and Grossman to Exhibit at CSE Until March 26, 2008

The College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE), invites the public to its latest art exhibition currently open through March 26. The exhibit, entitled “Line, Gesture, Space,” features works by New York artists Ula Einstein and Naomi Grossman, and New Jersey artist Elaine Chong, assistant professor of Art at CSE.

Crèches Show Visitors World of Diversity; View at CSE Until Jan. 4, 2008

CSE Capital Campaign Co-Chairs Honored at Annual President’s Council Celebration, Sept. 20, 2007

Wyckoff residents Thomas and Elizabeth Renyi, ’69, Capital Campaign Co-Chairs for the College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE), are this year’s 24th President’s Award recipients. Mrs. Renyi, ’69, CSE trustee, and her husband, executive chairman of The Bank of New York Mellon, were formally honored during CSE President’s Council Celebration on Thursday, September 20 at CSE new arts and education building, Annunciation Center.

600 Celebrate Dedication of CSE Annunciation Center, Sept. 8, 2007

The College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE), Morristown, N.J., welcomed 600 attendees during its Annunciation Center Opening and Open House event. This new building is the College’s first arts and education building since its establishment in 1899 and the first building to be constructed on campus in more than four decades.

CSE Dedicates Performing Arts Center, Sept. 8, 2007; Invites Public

The College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE), during its 109th academic year, marks a magnificent moment in its history on Saturday, September 8, 2007, at 2 p.m. Community members are invited to join CSE for an Open House and Dedication of Annunciation Center, CSE’s First Performing Arts Center since its establishment in 1899, and the first building to be constructed on the campus in more than 40 years.

Celebrating Community Investment: Donor Support for CSE Annunciation Center Makes a Difference in Student Lives, Local Community

This summer, when construction for the College of Saint Elizabeth’s (CSE), 2 Convent Road, Morristown, N.J., Annunciation Center is complete, CSE President Sr. Francis Raftery will not only take some personal satisfaction in the new building but will also thank donors for sharing with her the College’s vision of creating this fine liberal arts facility.

 

What began with a challenge gift of $1 million from the Dolan Family Foundation has now flourished into nearly $13 million raised by CSE faculty and employees, foundations and corporations, Sisters of Charity, trustees, and alums.
