As a special feature to this coming month’s advent season, the College of Saint Elizabeth will showcase a special international  creche display entitled, “The World Celebrates Christmas,” from December 1 through January 4, at the Therese A. Maloney Art Gallery in CSE Annunciation Center.

Donated by Eileen Canty, Ph.D. of Jenkintown, Pa., in honor of her friend and CSE alumna, Colette Conroy, ‘55, of Palm Beach Garden, Fl., the collection of more than 200 creches reflects the diversity of the nearly 2,000 CSE full- and part-time student body found in its Women’s College, and School of Graduate and Continuing Studies.

Free and open to the public, exhibit hours from December 1 - 15, 2007 are Monday through Friday from 1 - 7 p.m.; and Saturday from 1 - 4 p.m. For hours after December 15, contact Dr. Virginia Butera, CSE chair of the Art Department and curator for the College’s art gallery at (973) 290-4315.
