CSE to Offer Two Special Opportunities for Adult Students, Dec. 7



The School of Graduate and Continuing Studies at the College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE), 2 Convent Road, Morristown, NJ, will host on Thursday, December 7, both an Instant Decision Day for its undergraduate programs from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. (4 - 7 p.m. for RN to BSN program for Nursing) in Henderson Hall, Lower Lobby and an Open House for its Saturday Fast Track (SFT) programs from 6 - 8 p.m. in Santa Rita Hall, Riordan Board Room. Both events will be held on CSE’s Morristown campus. Prospective adult students are encouraged to bring their transcripts with them. Advisors will be available to evaluate credits and decide acceptance on the spot in most instances. Don’t wait - Spring classes begin on January 16. Undergraduate Instant Decision Day, December 7

 

Prospective adult students can bring in their transcript and speak with Continuing Studies advisors during CSE Undergraduate Instant Decision Day on Thursday, December 7 between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. in Henderson Hall, Lower Lobby on the College campus. Advisors will be available throughout the day to discuss admission eligibility for a variety of adult undergraduate programs available to both men and women, including:

 

  • RN-BSN program in Nursing
  • Accelerated evening/weekend courses designed for working professions with majors in:
  • Business Administration (Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Human Resource Management, Management & Marketing)
  • Communication
  • Justice Studies (Criminal Justice & Legal Studies)
  • Psychology
  • Theology
  • Combined B.S./M.S. Management and B.S./M.S. Nutrition
  • SFT undergraduate programs in Communication and Management
  • Day courses for women with 27 majors

 

Educational programs are offered during the evening, on weekends and in accelerated formats that are designed to accommodate the complex lives of adult learners. Small class size settings offer students one-on-one personal attention and service from faculty that maximizes students’ learning potential. Prospective students have the opportunity to transfer up to 96 credits into the program (if applicable).

 

Saturday Fast Track Open House, December 7

 

Adult learners have unique needs. That’s why the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies at CSE created the SFT programs to meet those needs and to accommodate the busy lifestyle of the working profession who needs to complete their degree or acquire additional education. Working adult students looking to get on the right track should attend the School’s SFT Open House on Thursday, December 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Santa Rita Hall Riordan Board Room on the College campus. SFT programs being offered to both men and women include:

 

  • B.A. Communication (Instant Decision available)
  • B.S. Management (Instant Decision available)
  • M.S. Management
  • Accelerated Teaching Certification for P-3 (Early Childhood)
  • One semester, Saturday-only certificates in Human Resource Management (Fall start only)

 

The School’s SFT undergraduate programs are created for adults at least 23 years old with five years post high school experience and a minimum 60 college credits or an associate degree. SFT undergraduate degrees in Communication and Management can be earned in less than two years, while a graduate degree in Management can be completed in one year. All SFT classes are held on Saturdays, two classes per seven-week term, with classes offered online during summer and January inter-sessions.
