Making History

Screaming Eagles soccer was established in the late 90’s as a NCAA recognized sport.  In 2006, CSE joined the Division III Association of Independents.  In 2007, alumna Chantelle Blair was the leading scorer for the Eagles along with teammate Diane Da Silva.

With increased participation and level of competition, the Screaming Eagles joined the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) beginning 2009-2010.

In the 2012 season, the Eagles finished the season with a 5-11 record. Senior Kelly O'Dell lead the team with 12 goals and 26 points. In net for the Eagles was senior Catherine De La Cruz who had a very good 2.54 goals against average and totaled 117 saves on the season.

2013 was a transitional year for the Screaming Eagles. First year head coach, Caitlin Veverka, inherited a team that lost 8 seniors the year before and had 3 incoming freshman. Brianna Fedorich lead the team with 2 goals. Grace Bailey and Carla Martinez lead the Eagles in net, saving 52 shots each. The Eagles will look to improve as a team and make a run at the NEAC playoffs in the 2014 season.
