Making History

The 2014 season was delayed 2 weeks due to a few snow outs. CSE kicked their season off with a road doubleheader, dropping both games at Drew University. The Eagles picked up their first wins of the season in the next doubleheader, defeating York College 8-3 and 14-1. The Eagles hit a rough patch, dropping 11 of the next 12 games including 10 conference games. The Eagles finally snapped out of their losing streak vs Valley Forge College, destroying them in both games, 14-4 and 25-7.

The Eagles would post one more doubleheader sweep, beating Gallaudet University, 10-2 and 5-4. The Eagles would drop their last 5 games, finishing with a 7-20 record. Valerie Lasko lead the team with a .351 batting average. Christina Scolaro finished the season with 2 home runs and 14 RBI's. She was also named NEAC Pitcher of the Week as well as 2nd Team All-Conference.
