GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its Student-Athlete of the Week selections in the sports of men’s and women’s basketball and men’s and women’s swimming for the period ending December 4, 2011.
Kristin King (Denville, N.J.) has been selected as the NEAC Women’s Swimming Student-Athlete of the Week for her sensational performances for the College of Saint Elizabeth Screaming Eagles. The senior won four individual events during two outings last week, leading the Eagles to a 52-43 victory over John Jay College last Wednesday by winning the 1000-yard freestyle (11:47.61), the 100-yard backstroke (1:08.67) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:19.60). King also won the 1000-yard freestyle event during the Eagles’ loss to Hunter College on Friday with a time of 11:57.71.
