Morristown, N.J. (April 3, 2014) – Ann Marie Lanzilotti is choosing to live inspired each day – praying more, helping others, and treating each day as a gift – in the hopes that sharing her faith will make the world a better place.
Lanzilotti, '13, transferred from Sussex County Community College (SCCC), and graduated from the College of Saint Elizabeth (CSE) with a Bachelor of Arts in communication and a minor in marketing. In 2013, she received the CSE Alumni Association Student Academic Leadership Award for Communication.
Growing up in New Jersey, Lanzilotti first saw the College campus from a train window. After encountering CSE again through college fairs, and being drawn to the small Catholic college environment, Lanzilotti applied and was offered a scholarship to attend. Lanzilotti, discovering later that her grandmother attended CSE for one year before getting married, said "I finished the degree for her."
During her years at the College, Lanzilotti took advantage of the on-campus career fairs, which led to her ten week management internship at RoNetco Supermarkets and her current job at Clover Communications.
While at CSE, Lanzilotti was a student ambassador, campus ministry executive board member, and community assistant. When requested to give campus tours to prospective college presidents, Lanzilotti said, "They want me to be the face of the college?" As a newer transfer student, Lanzilotti said that this opportunity was a "quite an honor."
Currently, Lanzilotti works as the Client Support Manager at Clover Communications in Millington, NJ. She explained that her position has many responsibilities based in establishing and building relationships. Lanzilotti said that this is her dream job, to be able to help people.
Of her experiences, Lanzilotti explained that "it's what you bring to the table and the joy you get from giving" that enhances a college education. She added that in life, "it's not so much where I go, but what I make of it."
