Offensive Player of the Week

Meghan Murray – College of Saint Elizabeth

Senior, Midfield, Knowlton, N.J.

Murray posted 17 points on 14 goals and three assists to lead the Screaming Eagles to a pair of victories and improve their record to 3-0 on the year, which is their best start in program history.  For the second time in as many games, Murray had a game-best nine goals while also adding team-highs of 10 groundballs and six caused turnovers in a 17-7 win over Cedar Crest College Thursday.  She followed that up with five goals, three assists, six groundballs and five caused turnovers in a 21-8 victory over U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Saturday.  Murray is now first in the NEAC in both goals (23) and points (26).

Defensive Player of the Week

Marina Guigli – William Smith College

Freshman, Goalie, Wellesley, Mass.

Guigli played all 120 minutes in goal, made 21 saves and recorded a .568 save percentage and a 8.00 goals against average, as the Herons earned wins over Springfield and Buffalo State during their spring break trip to Clermont, Fla. In a 10-8 win over Springfield on Tuesday, Guigli made 10 saves and picked up a ground ball. In Thursday's 14-8 win over Buffalo State, she finished with 11 saves, matching her season-high and added two ground balls and a caused turnover. Guigli ranks third in the Liberty League, averaging 7.33 saves per game.

Offensive Player of the Week

Britney Wuorio – Lasell College

Junior, Attack, Bolton, Mass.

Wuorio finished the week with an impressive total of 18 points. The sophomore scored 13 goals and added five assists in the undefeated week for Lasell. The junior helped the Lasers to wins against Salem State and Emmanuel by also grabbing eight draw controls and five ground balls while going 4-4 in free position opportunities.

Defensive Player of the Week

Lorin Field – Plymouth State

Junior, Goalie, Hollis, N.H.

Field averaged 10.5 saves per game to backstop Plymouth State to a 2-0 record this past week. She reached double digit saves in each start. She made 11 saves in the win at Colorado College, while stopping 10 against Pacific (Oregon) on March 23.
