MORRISTOWN, N.J. -- Director of Athletics Juliene Brazinski Simpson has announced the hiring of Jenna McCann as the head athletic trainer at the College of Saint Elizabeth.
McCann comes to Saint Elizabeth from West Chester (Pa.) University where she recently completed a master's of science degree in exercise and sport physiology while completing a graduate assistantship.
While at West Chester, McCann provided athletic training services, primarily for the women’s gymnastics team, while also working as a research assistant. She contributed to research projects dedicated to heat illness and hydration, as well as blood lactate testing.
McCann also received a bachelor's of science at West Chester in athletic training with earning a minor in nutrition.
McCann is a certified athletic trainer according to the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) Board of Certification and also has CPR/AED/First Aid certification. She is licensed by the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners and is a member of NATA.
