The second half started much better for the Eagles. O’Dell hit two quick 3 pointers to give the Eagles their largest lead of the game, 28-22. The defense continued to be the story of the second half, forcing 9 more turnovers and holding Abington to just 25% shooting. Grant had the clinching series of the game, knocking down a jump shot, followed by a 3 pointer to give the Eagles a 47-40 lead. CSE would not give up the lead, ultimately defeating Penn St. Abington 55-45.
Kelly O’Dell finished with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 steals. Sharolin Sanders also pitched in with 7 points and 7 rebounds off the bench. The Eagles look to make it 6 in a row when they host SUNY Cobleskill on Friday night at 7 P.M.
