The "SE" in "CSE" may stand for "Saint Elizabeth," but we like to think it also stands for "Screaming Eagles," and if you are a strong student who loves sports, here are a few reasons why you might want to become one.
For starters, at CSE you'll be able to strike a good balance between the academic and athletic sides of your life. Our Division III philosophy puts academics first, but we understand the important place athletics has on college campuses and in athletes' hearts. Here you'll find the challenge and support you need to reach your potential in the classroom and on the athletic field.
And when you step on that field, you'll be part of a growing program that's competing at its highest level ever. Nearly every Screaming Eagles team has had a winning record in recent years, with several teams qualifying for postseason playoffs.
Good athletes know that playing against quality competition makes you better, and when CSE recently became the only New Jersey college to join the prestigious North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC), it guaranteed quality competition against quality schools. And that's not all it guarantees - NEAC champions get automatic bids to NCAA Division III national championship competition.
