Calculate your eligibility for a CSE Academic Scholarship
You can find out now if you may be eligible for a CSE Academic Scholarship.

CSE Early Estimator Form.
Complete the Early Estimator Form. This enables us to provide an Estimated Award Letter listing all the aid for which you may qualify. Also listed will be the estimated costs and most importantly, it will give you an idea of what you will pay for your first year at CSE.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1. Our code is 002600

Before a final award is made, you may be required to submit documents to verify the information you provided. Your award is not final until these documents are received.

As a Continuing Ed student, the financial aid programs available to you at the College of Saint Elizabeth are Pell( Full and part-time), NJ Tuition Aid Grants (full-time only), loans thru the Federal Stafford Loan Program and private alternative loans thru individual lending institutions. The first step in the Financial Aid process is to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid for the 2009-10 academic year. The College of Saint Elizabeth school code is #002600. You can do that on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You can contact the Office of Financial Assistance to have them send you a FAFSA on the Web worksheet to use prior to completing the on-line application. It will take a couple of weeks before CSE will receive your information from the processor.

The next step in the process is for you to register for classes for the upcoming term. Once the FAFSA information is received, the Financial Aid Office can then determine a financial aid package for you that will include grants (if eligible) as well as loans you might be eligible for. A loan information sheet which describes the loan application process and provides you with a list of recommended lenders will be mailed to you along with the award letter.

Students must return a signed copy of their award letter accepting their loans to the Financial Aid Office as the first step in the application process. Please note: Students must be enrolled at least on a half-time basis (6 credits each term) in order to be eligible to borrow under the federal Stafford and PLUS loan programs. Private lenders offer alternative loans where you can borrow with less credits as well as to use the loans to cover past due balances.

International Students in the Women’s College may receive an institutional scholarship if eligible. Check the Admission’s section for more information on the scholarships. Institutional students are not eligible to receive any federal or state grants or scholarships. Students can apply for Alternative Educational loans thru many lending institutions throughout the US. As part of the lender’s requirement the student may be requested to provide a US co-signer. Contact the Financial Aid Office for Loan Information sheet which will provide information about the loan application process and provide suggested lenders.

For a graduate student, the only financial aid programs available to you at the College of Saint Elizabeth are loans thru the Federal Stafford Loan Program.
