Library Research Classes

CSE librarians offer instruction for faculty and students in all aspects of the research process. We will provide an introduction to the library's information tools and sources. Sessions may be general in nature, or designed around a particular course or assignment.

Requests should be made at least 2 weeks in advance.

The library's primary instruction space is at the back of the Reference Room on the main floor of the library. This area accommodates approximately 18 people.

Drop in and see us if you have a question or you're not sure where to start. Remember that you can get our help without actually coming to the library, too - call us at 973-290-4248 or explain your research question and we'll get back to you.

Students: Schedule Individual or Group Appointment

Students interested in meeting with a librarian individually or with a small group (up to 5) may request an appointment. Appointments can be held in-person at the library or over the telephone.
