On behalf of the students, faculty, staff and alumnae/i of the College of Saint Elizabeth, welcome!
On these web pages, you will find a vibrant and energetic community that includes women and men, full-time and part-time, from age 17 to 91. We may come from diverse backgrounds and cultures, but all of us share the search for intellectual and personal growth in the challenging, caring and supportive atmosphere of a Catholic liberal arts college.
The College of Saint Elizabeth was founded in 1899 and is sponsored by the Sisters of Charity. We have a strong tradition of concern for the poor, for developing leadership in a spirit of service and social responsibility, and a commitment to excellence and to the promotion of women as full partners in society.
Our 110 year history comes alive today with significant positive academic, technological, and leadership experience. Our nearly limitless horizon now includes a wireless campus with more than 2,000 students enrolled - 38 percent at off-campus sites; 10 master's degree programs and a fully subscribed doctoral program; vibrant visits by renowned poets, musicians, theologians, and artists; state-of-the-art fitness facilities; and, of course, the jewel in the crown: our beautiful and bustling new Annunciation Center.
I hope you will come and see for yourself how you might find your place and your future here. Know you are always welcome! Let us discover together, "What's next!"
Peace,
